Flying Ace

Did I mention I love old planes? I do. The Albatros DIII is by far one of my favorites too. The structure is appealing, as is the interesting paint jobs that many of them had during World War I.

This is a quick sketch of Manfred Von Richthofen (cartoon of course, since I lack real people skills) in his Albatros DIII. My scanner completely ruined the background and distorted the iron crosses on the plane. D: Originally, there is a cloudy background, and much more to the smoke.

The original was such a big piece that I had to break it up to scan it, and put it back together in a simple paint program. (Because I lack photoshop)
